Your Optician

My journey and career in eyewear and opticianry is long; nearly 20 years.  I won't bore you with the details. Life changes brought me to Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, in 2016.  That was the first time in my adult life where I felt it - Community.

My neighbors made sure I felt welcomed, and at home.  If there was anything I needed, I could knock on their doors at any time.  The kindness, warmth, and amazing energy is unrivaled.  "Spread love, it's the Brooklyn way."  Indeed.

And here we are, in 2020, where neighbors, local business owners, and friends have inspired me to bring my passion, energy, humor, and my love of eyewear to Bed-Stuy.

I will continue to spread love, the Brooklyn way, through beautifully crafted and exhilarating pieces of eyewear.

I create an experience in which you end up with your new favorite pair of glasses.  If you've never LOVED your eyewear, you will.  If your existing eyeglasses need adjusting, repairs, new lenses or just a little lovin', I'll take care of them as if they were my own prized beauties.  Your fave optician is here to give you a fresh, new optical experience.

I do NOT perform eye exams, nor do I deal in contact lenses, but I can make recommendations to those that do, and I am working on making those community connections.

I strongly feel that community and connection to each other are the ties that bind and the energy that uplifts.  I aim to bring my passion for quality, independent designs to our neighborhood and beyond, and to introduce you to a whole new perspective.  I want you to LOVE your glasses, and to broaden your relationship with eyewear.  My goal is to help you see AND look your best, with the beautiful spectacles that you deserve.

In Bed-Stuy and beyond, I come to you.   Proper health and safety protocols are a must.  I am now booking for virtual and in-person appointments.  Be on the lookout for optical pop-up shops around the neighborhood!  At your service, and your leisure.
